Anything at all. Your choice. What's the most Illinois way to get around?
Why do I ask, you say? Because I'm tired of hearing that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is the Ford F-Series. I'm more interested in what the best vehicle for the state should be.
Also, if you think the most Illinois vehicle happens to be the F-Series, then by all means put it down.
And as always...
Choose wisely!
This is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a 51-part series of Opposodes where I gather OppositeLock's view of America in the form of cars. Have at it.

Well people are agressive and suck at driving here so you want something quick and nimble on its feet. You also want something comfortable due to the roads being absolute shit and having to drive for long periods of time if your like me and live in the middle of nowhere. So a German entry level luxary car with the mid sized engine would be the best choice.

Well my girlfriend lives in Illinois, specifically Bloomington. Believe it or not I tend to see this car quite often:

Nibbles is ruthless and unforgiving.

I lived in that state for about 4 years as a late child/young teen and from what I can remember: snow exists and people will still drive through it like it's nothing, there's lots of farmland and miles of straight road between everything, and it's fun to go through a cornfield as an alternative route.
So, we need 4WD or AWD, good highway manners, and decent fuel economy...
Legacy wagon with a turbo!

Northern Illinois:
Southern Illinois:
As you can tell, Illinois sucks.

1995 Ford Ranger
1969 AMC Rambler
1996 Ford Taurus
1995 Ford Windstar
1993 Toyota Tercel
2000 Ford Focus
In my experience, any of the above work just fine for Illinois in all weathers.

It's not all bad though, Samah is the best damn hookah lounge I've ever been to. And Lifetime Fitness is the best damn place to get a workout.
Two things that can't be had here in Connecticut.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Garbage truck with no turn signals, or side windows, adorned with a FIB bumper sticker.

I saw several, there must be some weird incentive in Bloomington. Or there was a free giveaway... Probably the that.

My Mother in Law lived about 20 minutes from St Louis for a few years. There was a ton of empty miles so you'll need something super comfortable for cruising. I'm thinking a new coil spring Ram 1500 or a Charger. The Charger is big and comfy for long miles and, with a Hemi, will reward you for hitting the noise pedal.

For downtown Chicago: A Standard Motorcycle
Good gas mileage and you can park it anywhere. In the event you need anything more, take the train.
For the north-ish side of Chicago: Lumina of Doomina
(or any other early 2000s midsize)
Cheap enough to afford, big enough for the family, small enough to park, comfortable enough to sit in traffic.
For the north-east side of Chicago: One of these guys
Need something small enough to park yet luxurious enough to impress your rich, lakefront townhouse-owning friends...look no further.
For the north-west side of Chicago: 1996 Buick Roadmaster LT1 Wagon
Because we ain't rich, we don't worry about parking too much, we like comfort, power, and space.
For the south or west side of Chicago: Toyota Hilux
If it can survive what the Top Gear boys put it through, then it just might last in the warzone.
For the 'burbs: Old people cars
Pretty much...
For the east side of Illinois: Ford Raptor
Because hills.
For the rest of Illinois that looks like this...
A truck for the farm
And a dragster for the roads

Well I can throw out all the STL Card, and bluse scores, but in the end when it comes to stuff the matters Chicago gets everything they ask for from the Gov't, Hell I'm surprised they haven't moved the capitol up there yet.

There all over bloomington, it was like $65 a month for one as a lease at least that's what I remember hearing on the radio. It's funny seeing them because they're like cockroaches scattered about just barely moving.

My Taurus! It's produced in Illinois. Whenever I drive to Chicago I feel like I am taking it to see home.

That's probably because of the Mitsubishi factory in town.

It's a police car, without a doubt, because between expensive registration and plate fees, over the top city insurance fees, outrages parking costs in all ways, that's the only way to get around all of that

I live in IL and have an RX-8 for the winter and an Elise for the summer.
